Message from the Municipal Youth Mayor 2010

To our respected and dynamic Municipal Mayor, Miguel"Dors" Rivilla, to our Vice Mayor Genevieve C. Linsao and the Sangguniang Bayan Members, the Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Northern Tarlac, headed by Lolita D. Co, my fellow Municipal Youth Officials from both and private schools , our coaches and dedicated school heads, friends, visitors, ladies and gentlemen, long live the Paniquenian nation.
My sincerest thanks to all of my beloved friends, to our democracy, and God Almighty. this ceremony never fails to impress. It invest the highest youth official with the chief care of our Municipality and the principle responsibility of leaving it better than when to took it in hand. It has been a tough and a long journey for me to come this way. When I step down less than one (1) week from now this will be my 10-point legacy. I shall have supported the advocacy for a better education in our town. Everyone of school age will be in school in an uncrowded classroom, in surrounding conducive to learning. School buildings, books and other educational materials shall be granted to selected schools. This way no child will be left behind, the curtains of illetiracy and the breakthrough of a fast-changing world. The network of transport shall be more enhanced and developed, more infrastructure projects shall be made to construct now and multi-purpose farm-market roads. This make the process of buying and selling quicker and faster. Electricity power and clean water will be regularly provided to all barangay. It will result to better, comfortable and sustainable kind of living to our constituents.
I will also continue our fight against drug addiction and cigarette smoking. Campaigns and symposium shall be conducted in every barangay so that each and everyone, especially the youth will become knowledgeable, well-informed and be self-disciplined to their fellow men. They shall be the model for everybody.
Smoking and drug abuse on different school is a very serious problem. I will crack down on it especially smoking that results to lung
cancer. I will not let it to happen, I will respond to my utmost effort as a student leader because it is immoral for me to leave people especially the youth become and addicted because I know they can also have a good future for themselves. I expect everyone of us to cooperate to fight against that. I pledge to hunt them if they do it inside the school campus. I come to you today to fight for change.
One of the biggest problem in our country is our fight against climate change,global phenomenons and catastrophies and more environmental issues are likely to happen. As a student leader, one of my biggest concern is in caring Mother Earth. I shall plan and establish tree planting activities and implement Waste Disposal Management. Tighten the law on waste disposal and waste segregation. I shall inform the people by conducting orientations in doing the 3 R's, Reduce, Re-use and Recycle. In doing this, we can largely minimize our waste products and transform them into more useful materials.
For me to do all these, I need you, I cannot do these alone. I will need every single youth to come together, get involved and help us bind the wounds of the past. I will need every single youth to get our town healthy for tomorrow.. I want also to challenge every Paniquenians to be part of every decision of our Municipal Government, let us practice self-discipline and teamwork. To do this, lets begin with ourselves.
Stop complaining! Stop criticizing! Just do your part. Now is our time to march forward as one. I seek your wisdom and I trust in your commitment to the common good and to the swift actions you will take. And finally, I challenge myself and the whole Municipal Youth Government of our MUnicipality to live up to the highest standard of competence in the Public Service. Everyday, I shall get up and work for you. I shall make good and I shall do good for the good of all.
I expect you to get up everyday, to hold me accountable in the full glare of transparent leadership. I devote my high school days to serve you. Do your responsibility and I shall do mine.
We will strive together, We will triumph together.
