AG Alice B. De Vera Message on 34th Induction Ceremionies

It is with joy and pleasure that I extend my warmest greetings to Rotary Club of Northern Tarlac on the occasion of its 34th Induction and Turn Over Ceremonies.

To the incoming officers led by President Miguel “Dors” C. Rivilla, congratulations and best wishes for a successful Rotary year ahead of us. We are about to embark on a continuing and challenging but rewarding journey of service. I am confident, with our team pursuing with zeal a common dream, we can do much to serve and help the communities and the people who need us most.

Life is short. What we do our lives is all up to us alone to decide. We can live a life of sharing, giving or choose to do otherwise. Dr. Harold Blake Walker said a quote “We make a living by what we get, but we make life by what we give.” We are Rotarians, and I am sure we know which to choose. Let us all strive to make this better world. I know we can as we Reach Within to Serve Humanity.

Rotary is without limits. Fellow Rotarians let us move forward our initiatives to fulfill our plans and goals to make our world a better place to be. Seize the moment for the opportunity to serve, it might not come again.

We are all in this together. I hope at the end of Rotary 2011-2012 we can truthfully say – The Changemakers have delivered.

Once again congratulations to the Rotary Club of Northern Tarlac.

MABUHAY!
